Postpartum
As a postpartum doula I will be visiting your home on a schedule you prefer to assist on breast feeding lactation, daily task required for your child that maybe hard for you in the beginning as your trying to balance your daily routine once again and, be a supporter as situations can be very stressful during this time.
Sleep is very important and you will also need the comfort and piece of mind of resting without waking up every other hour. On average most parents keep the postpartum doula around for about 3 months. So we can always work out a timeframe and schedule one that you’re comfortable with Postpartum can includes morning or nightly visits for 3 hours minimum-10 hours max for 3 night/mornings maximum a week. For example, 7pm-5am, or 9am-12pm. For up to 3 months if needed to support mom and baby.
Prenatal
Prenatal visits are visits that usually takes place before labor and delivery. Usually, around the second and third trimester. During prenatal visits we will get to know one another as I assist you with completing your birth plan/wishes. A birth plan consist of wishes you would like to have happen during labor. Also, I will be teaching mother and support system different techniques and positions to make delivering baby more tolerable.
