As a postpartum doula I will be visiting your home on a schedule you prefer to assist on breast feeding/
lactation, daily task required for your child that maybe hard for you in the beginning as your trying to
balance your daily routine once again and, be a supporter as situations can be very stressful during this
time.
Sleep is very important and you will also need the comfort and piece of mind of resting without waking up
every other hour. On average most parents keep the postpartum doula around for about 3 months. So we
can always work out a timeframe and schedule one that you’re comfortable with
Postpartum can includes morning or nightly visits for 3 hours minimum-10 hours max for 3 night/mornings
maximum a week. For example, 7pm-5am, or 9am-12pm. For up to 3 months if needed to support mom
and baby.
